Dear Friends,
The Holiday Season is the time for family and I hope that you will be surrounded by friends and family this season. I am extremely lucky to have been able to celebrate my mother's 101st birthday this month at her retirement residence in Bryn Mawr, PA. Last year at this time we marked her 100th with a major party. It was quieter this year, but no less inspirational. You can read my tribute to her and her dynamic spirit in the current issue of the Vineyard Gazette.

'**Meet The Artist' Showcases Jeanne Staples & More
**
The Friday after Thanksgiving Vineyard Open House had the privilege of hosting 'Meet the Artist'--noted Vineyard artist Jeanne Staples--at the home of Sitg and Anita Persson at 20 Old Barnes Rd. in Oak Bluffs.
By all accounts it was a rousing success with more than 40 friends and fans attending as Ms. Staples presented both her artwork and the quilts that she encourages native Haitians to create for sale. The event was featured the following week in the Vineyard Gazette and you can read about it here. We are also happy to report that showings for the property have increased since the event, a very good sign during the busy Holiday Season.
